Emily Cluthe

03-19-2000: Emily Cluthe, a native Texan, was born in the township of Lake Jackson and resides in Houston, after completing college. She comes to Carmel with a message that everyone can use. Experiencing one of the most stressful life-threatening challenges that could affect anyone, Emily has a lot to share about her personal path and the role her thoughts have played in acquiring the dis-ease commonly termed as cancer. Winning her battle, she is a walking testimony to the effects of positive thinking. Believing that there is no separation between mind, body, and soul, Emily makes a great effort to stay focused on the positive, regardless of the circumstances. She also stays physically active, which has proven to be a magic ingredient to good health. She co-hosted a popular radio program for a number of years with her husband, Scott, at radio station KENR in Houston. No strangers to Carmel, Scott was a guest speaker at Carmel as far back as December, 1981. Today Emily will talk about “Conquering Personal Challenges.”
