Ginny Eckley

03-04-2001: Ginny Eckley comes this day to tell us about “the great exchange.” To Ginny, the great exchange is the pleasure of teaching students and sharing ideas, techniques, and laughter, while creating together. Ginny has taken her art classes across the United States and Japan, believing that the urge to create is fundamental, and art and learning should be fun. She is an author, teacher, and a lover of nature, which is as deep as her passion for art. She’s the author of two books, Fabric Painting–A Simple Approach and Quilted Sea Tapestries, two endeavors illustrating just a fraction of her works. These motivating forces are the bases of her skill in teaching and painting. In her art, Ginny has effectively combined those skills with her inner thoughts, resulting in her successes. Carmel is proud to again present Ginny as Guest Speaker and as the teacher of her Fabric Painting with Airbrush class at 1:00 P.M. If you like painting, dust off that airbrush that you haven’t used lately, bring it, and let’s paint some fabric!
