TO ORDER A RECORDING OF THIS SPEAKER, ORDER NUMBER 12-22-2002. 0rder Form

Rev. Diane Plamondon

12-22-2002: Rev. Diane Plamondon is a Unity minister ordained in 1990. Her call to service as a minister came “out of the blue,” and came as a strong and urgent call, as she tended her small flock of pet goats on her property in Del Rio, Texas. She dropped everything and went quickly to Unity Village, where she met the study requirements and prepared an application for ministerial school. Returning to her goats in a peaceful state of mind, she was quite amazed to learn she was accepted. Prior to this, Diane was part of a spiritual program which saved her life, but also opened her to a measure of peace and happiness she had never known. Her mission is to love God and all people to the best of her ability. After completing ministerial studies at Unity School for Religious Studies, she founded Unity of Costa Rica, and later Unity Church of the Bay Area in Kemah, Texas. She has been blessed with wonderful, loving people in each congregation. She has two sons, George and Christopher Cushing. Diane has left her last ministry in the hands of a new minister. She now works as the Director of the A Bed for Every Child program with Softly International. She make trips to Costa Rica and Honduras helping children have a clean, comfortable place to sleep. There are periodic tours for volunteers to have life-changing, spiritual experiences. Diane holds degrees in nursing and sociology and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science in Community Health from the University of Texas, Houston. We look forward to her talk.
