Jackie Pound

January 22 - Rev. Jackie Pound returns to Carmel"s podium! In 1989, Jackie founded Our Lady Of The Angels, Church of Antioch. She continues to devote her time and energies to helping others. She says: "When we let the miracles occur, we discover ourselves. We are the acres of diamonds, and we see the invisible with our hearts!" Jackie continues, "In God I trust; I have no fear. This has helped me to know the Holy Spirit." She has enjoyed helping children and adults alike with their Holy Communions and Masses. Sponsoring a young singles group at Unity, called One Vibration, has given her great satisfaction. Of special note, Jackie opened and operated a Houston metaphysical bookstore, Phoenix, back in a time when metaphysical books were difficult to come by. This was a great service to the spiritual community, and Carmel Temple honors her for her effort. This Sunday, Jackie will be discussing her feelings...experiencing God in all people, in all religions, and that true prayer is living from your heart.
