Rev. Ruth Seeliger

June 21: Rev. Ruth Seeliger is a non-denominational minister serving various churches in the Houston area. Her ministry includes healing (she is a Reiki Master), meditation, nonviolent communication and spiritual awakening classes in various venues throughout the area. She is Administrator and a Board Director for the Foundation for Contemporary Theology, founded by her late husband, Rev. Wes Seeliger. She is a member of the Center for Spiritual Living, a Religious Science church. Her non-dogmatic Presbyterian upbringing, the influence of Quakerism in her family and at Swarthmore College, her experience for 19 years as a Patient Care Coordinator at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, life with her pioneering Episcopal priest husband and world events – especially since 9/11- all contributed to her present understanding of the Oneness of All Life and our individual and collective response-ability to It. Understanding God as a Mystery relieves us from dogma and allows us the freedom to experience It in all Its fullness and goodness. We welcome Ruth’s return to Carmel
