Nancy Marie Kurtz Swenson (1943-2004)

Nancy Swenson made her transition on Friday, August 20, 2004. Born November 23, 1943 to the late William J. Kurtz, Sr. and Zelma Embesi Kurtz, she was a resident of Houston since the 1950’s, when her family moved from California to Texas. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Kurtz, Jr. Numerous family members and friends, neighbors, and her two cats, Star and Country, survive her. Many people in this area took Reiki classes from Nancy. We will miss Nancy’s kind, loving, and peaceful spirit. Her strength, courage, and generosity will be the heritage she leaves to all who knew and loved her.
