Tom Roach, while surfing the Internet, discovered that Carmel Temple, besides being located nearly in his backyard, was conducting a study group on one of his favorite topics, Conversations with God, based on Neale Donald Walsch’s popular book and lecture series. Since then, the rest is history! Tom designed and landscaped areas around Carmel (A Chemical Engineer by profession, a landscape gardener/rose expert by hobby) and created the Labyrinth next door to the Annex. A beloved Carmelight and good friend , Tom  unexpectedly made his transition in May of 2001.
